Yield enhancement products give the investor the opportunity to gain an attractive return in sideways markets. At maturity the investor either is paid the amount of the cap/strike price or delivered the stock. In the first case the investor attains an attractive return; in the second case he/she receives the underlying security for a lower price than he/she would have had to pay in the market through a direct investment at the time he/she acquired the Yield enhancement products.
